A Nigerian woman has shared a video expressing deep disappointment over her mother's decision to marry her father, claiming the choice negatively impacted her own life opportunities.
In the widely circulated video, the young lady revealed that she has repeatedly confronted her mother about why she chose to marry a man who was beneath her family's socio-economic standard.
According to her account, her mother comes from a highly privileged, financially stable background, with several of her maternal uncles residing abroad. She contrasted her mother’s affluent upbringing with her father’s background, questioning why her mother chose to settle for someone she believes was never on her level.

She further questioned why her mother would expect her to replicate the same path when she believes it leads to avoidable financial struggles.
