Manchester United manager Michael Carrick stated that he does not expect to be relieved of his duties following the team's 2-0 Premier League defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, October 31.
Second-half goals from Morgan Rogers and Cole Palmer condemned United to their fourth league defeat of the season.
The result leaves Carrick's side sitting in 17th place in the table, just one point above the relegation zone. Despite the mounting pressure, the 45-year-old manager expects to be in the dugout for the upcoming mid-week European fixture.
When asked directly whether he expects to remain in charge for the next match, Carrick replied with a simple, "Yes."
