Train rams into car in Lagos

A train and a Honda car collided this morning, October 9, in Lagos State. 



The collision took place at the PWD railway crossing, along Agege Motor Road, Ikeja. 
 


This was disclosed on X by LASTMA. 



A video of the collision shows the mangled remains of the Honda car as locals gathered around it and tried to push it away from the train tracks. 



It was not stated if any casualties were recorded. 
 


The tweet shared by LASTMA reads: "A collision involving a train and a Honda car was reported on the rail tracks at PWD seriously affecting vehicular movement at the moment. 

"The car has been pushed off the tracks now by onlookers as Effort is on for evacuation. 

"Officers are on ground managing the traffic situation accordingly as emergency responders are on ground doing the needful."
