"She will be remembered for her dedication to married men" — Businesswoman pens scathing tribute to late friend

"She will be remembered for her dedication to married men" — Businesswoman pens scathing tribute to late friend

A Nigerian businesswoman Aisha, known on social media as @rivkaaishaa, has sparked intense online debate after publishing a scathing tribute to her late friend, Jannah, following news of her passing.

In a mock obituary graphic posted across her social media channels, Aisha wrote: "With absolutely no tears and several unanswered questions, we announce the untimely departure of Jannah, a woman who spent her earthly days proving that not every woman's hobby is Pilates, brunch, or traveling. Some women simply prefer other people's husbands."

The graphic further alleged that Jannah passed away following surgical complications, stating: "Her story came to an end following complications from a facelift and vaginal rejuvenation surgery. In the end, even karma said: enough. Good riddance, Jannah."

Following backlash from social media users questioning the harsh tone of the post, Aisha defended her comments in subsequent statements, detailing accusations of personal betrayal, blackmail, and harassment against the deceased.

"Before you all come at me, this woman pretended to be my friend, came in my home, conned and blackmailed my ex and then tried same with me, put threats on my kids among other things," Aisha wrote. "She's part of the reason I ended up in a custody battle... Very happy she's not among us anymore."

Aisha further alleged that the deceased made false reports to child welfare authorities, subjecting her young children to prolonged official investigations. "She called Child Protective Services on my ex and I more than 10 times with various allegations ranging from abuse, leaving them alone to exploitation," Aisha claimed.

"It subjected my then 2, 4 and 5 year old sons to 2 years of investigations... She only stopped after lots of money was spent to go after her legally and subpoenaed her to court." Addressing criticisms regarding her former husband's role in the affair, Aisha clarified that she had previously confronted and divorced her ex-husband before addressing her former friend's actions.

"I divorced the husband and dealt with him separately, but she came in begging to be my friend so she deserves this too," she added.
