American rapper and music mogul, Jay-Z is set to headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
According to a report by entertainment outlet Puck, Jay-Z has selected himself to headline Super Bowl LXI, scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The 56-year-old rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has played a key role in selecting Super Bowl halftime performers since his entertainment company, Roc Nation, partnered with the NFL in 2019 to oversee the show's musical programming.
Reports indicate that pop stars Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were also considered for the coveted slot before Jay-Z reportedly emerged as the preferred choice.
If confirmed, the performance would mark Jay-Z's first time headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, despite his longstanding influence over its lineup.
