Prince Harry says he wants to reconcile with Prince William but ‘some people don’t want to’ resolve issues

Prince Harry has said that he wants to reconcile with his brother, Prince William, but disclosed that “some people don’t want” their family issues to be fixed.

“I want it to work out. Of course I do,” the Duke of Sussex said in an on-camera interview with GQ released Tuesday, October 20.

“With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That’s the key point.”

Harry, 42, told the interviewer that he “of course” grieves his estrangement from his only sibling.

“Again, another massively relatable issue for so many people,” he explained. “There’s siblings disagreements. Broken relationships between kids and their parents. That continues to come with me the whole time with people I speak to.”

So I know how relatable it is,” Harry said. “That’s probably why there’s so much fascination.”

The Duke of Sussex encouraged people to “let go of the past” to heal rifts with family.

“Scars stick around forever. But what your perception is, and what your mindset is to those things that have happened, letting go of the past. That’s something that I would encourage everybody to do,” he said.

“If there’s certain things from the past that are still affecting you every day, that’s harder to let go of.”

Harry added, “But, for me, there’s enough drama in the world and enough drama in people’s lives than to continue with issues with family.”

When the interviewer told Harry that family fallouts are “not worth it,” Harry replied, “That’s hard to say to people when you’re in it.”

Harry has been estranged from brother William and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, ever since the Sussexes stepped down as senior members of the British royal family.

The two couples are still at odds despite Harry and Markle, 45, moving back to the UK with their two kids in August.

Royal insider Kinsey Schofield recently told Page Six that William has “washed his hands” of Harry amidst the latest Sussex drama, including pulling their children from their new UK prep school at the last minute due to security concerns.

“The Sussexes’ presence will always generate noise and distraction, and I think the first few weeks have demonstrated exactly why the royal family remains concerned,” Schofield said.

I stand 100% with Harry. None of this would be happening had he not married a half black woman from the USA. How do they know William has washed his hands off his brother? Like Harry said, there are those who don’t want the family reconciled.
