Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala gifts ex-grassroots coach Toyota Highlander in appreciation

Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has presented a brand-new Toyota Highlander to her former grassroots mentor and head coach of FC Robo International, Emmanuel Osahon Orobosa.

FC Robo International confirmed the vehicle's presentation, praising the six-time African Women's Player of the Year for remembering the coach who helped launch her professional career in 2009.

Orobosa, the founder of FC Robo, provided tactical guidance and support for Oshoala during her teenage years when she was working to gain family approval to pursue a career in professional football.

“Your presentation of a Toyota Highlander to Coach Osahon is a beautiful demonstration of gratitude and a reminder that you have not forgotten the people who played important roles in your journey," FC Robo said in a statement.

The gesture builds on Oshoala’s history of supporting her former club, which includes donating a team operational bus shortly after making her move to European football.

Now established as one of Africa’s most decorated footballers, Oshoala’s latest gift highlights her continued connection to the grassroots development system that shaped her career.
