“Nigerians in the UK make content about everything, and it’s affecting thousands of others living there” – TikTok user says

A TikTok user has criticised Nigerians living in the United Kingdom for making social media content about sensitive issues, warning that some of the videos could have negative consequences for thousands of other Nigerians residing in the country.

In a video shared online, the user expressed frustration over what she described as the tendency of some Nigerians in the UK to quickly turn sensitive developments into content, without considering the possible impact on others.

She questioned why people would set up cameras and ring lights to discuss issues that could affect the lives of fellow Nigerians, urging content creators to be more careful about the information they share.

The woman also advised Nigerians in the UK to focus on other forms of content, including cooking, shopping and lifestyle videos, rather than constantly discussing sensitive matters.

She argued that some situations were still unfolding and could be reviewed or reversed, warning that making premature public commentary could worsen matters for people affected by them.
