"Davido had no hand in VDM's arrest or Naira Marley's ordeal"- Davido's aide says

Davido's aide, Isreal DMW, has denied claims that the singer was involved in efforts to have social commentator VeryDarkMan arrested or in the issues surrounding Naira Marley during the campaign for justice for late singer Mohbad.

In a statement shared online, Isreal said Davido neither instructed nor approved the participation of anyone in the WhatsApp group allegedly linked to the plans against VeryDarkMan.

He also denied claims that Davido demanded Mohbad's music catalogue or attempted to sign Zinoleesky, describing the allegations as false.

Isreal added that Davido had faced pressure to unfollow Naira Marley on Instagram but refused, insisting that the police should be allowed to investigate the matter rather than relying on unverified claims.

He further clarified that the disagreement at Naira Marley's house involved a member of the 30BG camp and one of Naira Marley's associates, insisting that nobody was attacked.
