Junior Ubiribo, the son of the late British-Nigerian influencer Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo—who passed away on March 6, 2026—has voiced his displeasure over the events surrounding his father's funeral.
In a video posted to social media, Junior accused his late father's widow of freezing him out of the funeral arrangements. He claimed she organized the entire burial without letting him have a say in the planning. Furthermore, Junior alleged that the widow buried his father in a gold casket that cost significantly less than the publicly reported $700,000 price tag. He also claimed she had multiple disagreements with his grandmother and has since blocked all of his family members.
The bereaved son also called out celebrity barman Cubana Chiefpriest for showing off a luxury Richard Mille wristwatch at the cemetery. In a video that went viral during the burial, Chiefpriest flaunted the watch, saying, "We are outside... Yea... Cemetery chilling." Junior stated that seeing that video repeatedly leaves him in a state of shock, describing it as a moment that perfectly depicted a "lack of empathy" from many of the attendees.
Reflecting on the burial, Junior described the entire ceremony as "hell" and a "horrible day," asserting that the people his father cared for most during his lifetime failed to show genuine care in his death. He also took aim at the guest list, claiming the majority of attendees did not actually know his father.
Specifically, he called out SPAC Nation Pastor Tobi Adegboyega and his congregants, accusing them of infiltrating the funeral like "rats" just to "chase clout."
