“We started speaking in tongues and they didn’t see us” — Lady recounts how armed r0bbers allegedly failed to see her and friends during r0bbery

A Nigerian lady has narrated how she, her brother and two friends survived an rm£d r0bbery at their home in Abuja in 2022, claiming the r0bbers could not see them despite entering the room where they were seated.

The lady, identified as Comfort, said the incident happened at their residence in an estate around Karsana, Gwarinpa Extension, Abuja, about four to five months after they moved in.

According to her, she was sleeping when a friend woke her around 3 a.m., informing her that r0bbers had surrounded their house.

She said she looked through her window and saw several rm£d men threatening to break into the building while her brother attempted to contact security personnel for help.

Comfort explained that as the men forced their way into the house, her brother hid in his bathroom while she remained in her bedroom with her friend and another male visitor.

She said she suddenly felt led to pray, and the three of them began speaking in tongues.

“We started speaking in tongues, praying, and they came in. They flashed the light on me, on my friend, on the family friend, and they looked around, but they didn't say anything,” she narrated.

According to her, the r0bbers searched the room while complaining that the occupants had escaped, even though she and her friends were sitting on the bed.

“They were just saying that these people are not here, that these people ran away already. And I'm thinking in my head, what is happening here?” she recalled.

She added that despite carrying g¥ns and other w£@pons, the intruders neither questioned them nor demanded money or valuables.

Comfort described the experience as shocking, saying she believed their prayers had protected them during the incident.
