"I regret going to university. It didn't help me - Frustrated man says as he tears his school certificates

A video of a Nigerian man tearing his academic certificates has caused a stir online.

In the widely shared clip, the man—who revealed he graduated with a Second Class Upper division in Psychology—ripped apart what appeared to be the original copies of his BSc degree, NYSC discharge certificate, and WAEC results.

Visibly frustrated, he lamented that his years of academic labor had yielded no benefits, stating that his hard-earned qualifications had failed to "favour" him in the real world.

The video has triggered a wave of mixed reactions. While many social media users sympathized with his plight and pointed to the harsh realities of graduate unemployment, others remained skeptical, questioning whether the destroyed documents were truly the original copies or just colour photocopies.
