Deeper Life Church bride defends her "modest" wedding dress

A Deeper Life Bible Church bride, Akinmoyewa Mercy Oluwaseun, has defended her choice of wedding dress following online backlash. 

Mercy, who tied the knot on Saturday, October 10, has been facing criticism from some conservative Christians, and some church members, who labeled the gown “immodest” and too revealing. read here

Responding to the critics on Sunday night, she clarified that her wedding dress was fully lined.

"For your information, I wore a fully lined mermaid wedding dress. I was very intentional about it. I preach modesty but make una try to dey know fashion small small,” she wrote.
