"We came to a viewing centre, not the stadium" — Actor, Chinedu Ikedieze reacts after being charged $30 to watch world cup match in America

Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has sparked reactions after expressing shock over the cost of watching a World Cup match at a viewing centre in the United States.

In a video shared online, the actor revealed that fans were being charged $30 to watch the game on a giant screen despite not being inside the stadium.

"We came to watch a match, not even in the stadium. This is just where they put the big screen. Do you know how much they are charging us? $30!" he said.

The actor, who appeared amused by the situation, noted that even the car park cost $30, joking about the high prices while admitting that they still had to watch the game.

I thought matches at the stadium cost 1k dollars? Even in Nigeria are viewing centres really free or he is calculating based on exchange rate which will be childish

Maybe you should have gone to the stadium and paid $1500 for cheapest seats. Stop complaining. The viewing center has to cover their rent, utilities and staff wages
