Mobility challenged Nigerian man who started the year single, celebrates as he gets married

A mobility challenged Nigerian man, Michael Moses, who started the year single has celebrated after getting married.

He shared the heartwarming news and wedding photos via Facebook on Wednesday and Thursday, November 4 and 5, 2026. 

He reflected on the sad, gloomy and lonely days that preceded his sudden joy.

He stated that all we need to do is take our hands off and let God. 

He revealed that he had stopped thinking about love after series of disappointments when God brought his amazing woman into his life, leading to their marriage five months later. 

"It's funny how I started the year without a woman, girlfriend or even fiancée but right now I'm holding my wife in my arms,” he wrote.

 

"It seems like a very simple story, one you can see the end from the beginning but that wasn't my case cuz in between day were sad days, gloomy days, there were days loneliness ate deep into my bones, not to even remember how sapa did me ugly. 

 

"It was never my plan to get married this year. I mean how do I even do so with the numerous disappointment from here and there?

 

"Sometimes all we need to do is take our hands off and let God. Just when I wasn't thinking about love, God brought the most amazing woman my way and in 5 months we are now married. Glory be to God!!!

 

“I literally started this year on the floor but before the end I'm receiving congratulations. This is just a short story that anything is possible. Trust God, let go and let God.”
