A former United States Military Academy cadet is facing a civil lawsuit after allegedly drugging his pregnant girlfriend and forcing her to undergo an abortion while they were both students at the prestigious West Point military academy.
Caleb T. Suh’s former girlfriend, identified in court documents as Jane Doe, filed an assault and battery lawsuit against him on October 28, 2026, at the New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan, seeking unspecified damages over the incident, which occurred in 2022.
According to the lawsuit, the woman was 19 and a second-year cadet when she discovered she was pregnant. She wanted to keep the baby, but Suh allegedly pressured her repeatedly to terminate the pregnancy.
When she refused, Suh allegedly obtained abortion medication by impersonating her and using her identification to create an account with an online pharmacy.
Court documents further alleged that he acquired Xanax through a friend and secretly mixed the sedative into a drink he presented to her as a prenatal protein shake.
After she became incapacitated, Suh allegedly administered abortion pills orally and vaginally without her consent.
The woman reportedly regained consciousness in severe pain and began experiencing heavy bleeding. After unsuccessfully attempting to contact Suh, she called emergency services and was taken to hospital, where doctors confirmed that she had suffered a miscarriage.
The lawsuit alleges that the incident left her with lasting physical and emotional trauma.
The civil lawsuit is seeking compensation for the alleged assault and its lasting consequences.
