Cristiano Ronaldo Junior has received his maiden call-up to the national team .

The 16-year-old forward, widely known as "Cristianinho", was named in head coach Filipe Ramos’ 23-man squad for the upcoming UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying fixtures and will play for the Portugal Under-17 national team.

He currently develops his club football within the youth academy of Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.
Ronaldo Junior previously made his international debut for the Portugal Under-15 squad in May 2025 before advancing to the Under-16 setup earlier this year, where he netted three goals in nine appearances.

Portugal is scheduled to face Andorra, Bulgaria, and Serbia in the upcoming European qualifying round.
