The Taifa Stars of Tanzania are scheduled to arrive in Uyo ahead of their matchday three encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The early arrival is intended to afford head coach Miguel Gamondi sufficient time to acclimatize and thoroughly prepare his squad for the fixture.
Gamondi has assembled a 24-player squad for the crucial double-header, evenly split with 12 home-based players and 12 foreign-based professionals.
Nigeria will host the first leg against the Taifa Stars at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, November 13. The two sides will meet again four days later for the matchday four fixture in Dar es Salaam.
