“Your husband's money is not your money” – Nigerian lady speaks on financial independence in marriage

A woman has shared her views on marriage and financial independence, claiming that a husband's wealth does not automatically belong to his wife.

According to her, marriage has taught her that women should not assume they have ownership of their husbands' money.

“Marriage made me to understand that your husband's money is not your money. If anything happens to your marriage today, you are going back to your father's house with just your bag,” she said.
