American rapper, Soulja Boy has teased a possible run for the United States presidency in 2028.
The Crank That hitmaker took to social media on Sunday to declare his interest in moving from music to politics.
Posing in front of a huge American flag, Soulja Boy - real name DeAndre Cortez Way- promised to offer better "opportunities" to young voters.
"From music to business to technology, I've always believed in thinking bigger and challenging what's possible," he wrote. "Now I'm exploring what it means to bring that same vision to public service. The future starts with a conversation," he wrote on Instagram.

However, Soulja Boy has yet to formally declare his candidacy, disclose which political party he would represent, or outline detailed policy proposals for a potential presidential campaign.
His latest move comes after he performed at the Crypto Ball during festivities surrounding Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2025.
