Rapper Boosie Badazz’s 18-year-old son arrested on armed robbery, battery charges

American rapper Boosie Badazz's 18-year-old son has been arrested on armed robbery and battery charges following an investigation.

Ivy Hatch, 18, of Denham Springs, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 22, along with a juvenile, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to Buffwood Street in Denham Springs around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in response to a reported battery.

“The victim in this case reported being battered and robbed. Our investigation led to two arrests: Ivy Hatch and a juvenile. More arrests are expected as our investigation continues,” Sheriff Jason Ard said.

Hatch was released from the Livingston Parish Detention Center on Thursday after posting bond, which a judge set at $275,500.

The juvenile arrested in connection with the investigation was transported to the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center. Authorities did not release the juvenile’s identity.

Hatch is the son of Baton Rouge native Boosie Badazz, whose legal name is Torrence Hatch.
