Nigerians have continued to mourn the tragic passing of  25 crew members and passengers of the Nigerian Military aircraft that crashed in Igbokoda, Ondo state on Monday, October 5.

Among the 25 persons aboard the flight was Flying Officer IM Adeshina.

Tributes shared on social media showed Adeshina was only nine days ago celebrated as the best graduating cadet of Branch Commission Course 3. He was commissioned into the Nigerian Air Force as a flying officer on September 26, 2026.

In one of the pictures taken at the commissioning, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, was seen presenting a plaque to Adeshina.

Sadly, nine days later, on October 5, he d!ed in the aircraft crash.

The rescue operation is still ongoing at the site of the crash to locate his remains as well as those of the 24 others in the illfated flight.
