Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is reportedly at risk of being sacked if the Red Devils fail to defeat Bournemouth in their upcoming Premier League clash following a miserable start to the season.
According to The Touchline, pressure on Carrick has intensified following United’s disappointing run of results, including a 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League.
‘The board believes the players have LOST FAITH in him and doubts his ability to turn the situation around.
‘Manchester United have already begun the process of identifying potential replacements should they decide to part ways with Carrick.’
Manchester United have managed just two wins in 11 matches across all competitions, dropped to 13th in the Premier League and exited the Carabao Cup. Their 4–1 defeat to Como, alongside captain Bruno Fernandes’ public criticism of the team’s tactics, has added to the scrutiny facing Michael Carrick.
