A man identified as Sulaiman Fulani has been arrested in Kano State for allegedly inviting bandits into a community to carry out attacks.
The suspect was arrested by vigilantes under the command of Sadiq Mu’azu, the Tsaure area commander in Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State.
Security expert Bakatsine disclosed this in a post on X on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
According to him, the arrest took place in Toronya community, Shanono LGA, where local sources alleged that Fulani was inviting bandits into the area to carry out attacks.
“Local sources said he was allegedly inviting bandits into the area to carry out attacks. The arrest again raises a difficult question: How do communities ever find peace when some people from within are accused of opening the door for those who terrorise them?,” he wrote.
