Lagos is set to host the 2026 CAF Awards on December 7, with the prestigious ceremony expected to bring together some of Africa’s biggest football stars, coaches, officials and other key figures in the sport.
The Confederation of African Football confirmed Lagos as the host city for this year’s awards, with the ceremony scheduled to take place at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly the National Theatre, in Iganmu.
The return marks the fourth time Lagos will host the CAF Awards, following previous editions in 2008, 2013 and 2014.
Nigeria last hosted the CAF Awards in 2017, and the current winners for its prestigious men's and women's player of the year awards are Moroccan duo Achraf Hakimi and Ghizlane Chebbak, respectively.
