“I was the producer, writer and singer. Less stress” – Rudeboy explains why transitioning from P-Square to a solo career was easy

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has explained why transitioning from P-Square to a solo music career was not particularly difficult for him.

Speaking about his experience in a recent interview, Rudeboy said he was already responsible for several important aspects of the group’s music, including production, songwriting and singing.

“With due respect, I am the producer, I am the writer, I am the singer. Less stress,” he said.

The singer suggested that his experience handling these roles during his time with P-Square made it easier for him to continue making music independently.
