I visited him every Sunday - Woman recounts how her husband divorced her after his release from prison

A businesswoman, Shanae Tamika, has advised women to walk away the moment a man goes to jail, even in long-term relationships. 

She gave the advice in a Facebook post, recounting how her husband divorced her after he was released from prison, despite her driving to another county to visit him every Sunday during his incarceration.

“Signing divorce papers…at 7AM…for a second time in 2 years. Not picked up by me but by the man that I loved more than life itself,” she wrote 

"The man that I begged God to make happy without me if he wasn’t meant to be with me? 

"The man that I left church every Sunday and drove to Harford county to visit ? 

"I looked at the dates on the first signatures and then the tabs that signified where a signature was still needed. 

"It made me realize that not only had he went to a courthouse to get these papers, he really attempted to file them and had someone mark where I still needed to sign. Me? The fool who suffered it all and never once thought of divorce ?.”

She added: "And while I’m lashing out, let me add some shit !!! I’ve been going through hell !! Never hold a down !! Leave him when he goes to jail, even if yall were together years before. Leave him when you start making more money than him.

"Don’t fuck with him if you have more hustle than him. Don’t date him if his Momma didn’t treat him right and love on him. You’ll just become the envy of them both. 

“Don’t even consider him if he has bad stories about all of his ex girlfriends. Bitch, those lifelong sidekicks don’t go away ! No matter how great you think you are !!.”
