“God knew marriage would not be easy that was why he created side chics” - Actor Charles Inojie

Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has shared his  opinion on marriage and the rising rate of divorce.

While speaking during a show recently, the actor explained that the main reason divorce is becoming increasingly common now is because many humans have abandoned God's original design for marriage.

According to him, God already knew beforehand that marriage would not be an easy journey. He further made a controversial claim that God "created" side chics to help men handle the difficult periods in their homes and help marriages survive.

He said; “One of the reasons the rate of divorce is high is because we humans have left God's original design for marriage. For instance, God knows marriage would not be easy, that's why He created side chicks so that when things are hard at home, the man can use the side chick to save the marriage because side chick is very important in every marriage.”

His opinion has sparked a debate online. While some men are in full support of his opinion, women are fighting back, arguing that men should also remember that God created ‘’sugar boys'’ to satisfy stressed-out married women.
