"All security agencies failed me, from DSS to police to the military" Woman says months after husband vanished

A Nigerian woman whose husband went missing while travelling has spoken out one year and five months after the incident occurred. 
 

Nemi said she spoke to her husband, Angel Odumodu, for the last time and he told her he was driving past a military check point in Nnewi, Anambra State, as he journeyed home to Port Harcourt. 

She never heard from him again after that. 

Last year, she took to X, asking for help in finding her husband. 
 

Today, in an update, she shared what she has been going through since then. 

She wrote: "It’s has been exactly a year and 5 months since I spoke to my husband for the last time and he told me he was on his way back to PH and was currently driving past at a military check point at Nnewi, few minutes later his number was unreachable and that was it. 

"God has held my hands through a trauma that can break anyone and cause them to lose their minds cos how does a person vanish from the face of the earth without a trace. 

"To whomever took him and whatever you did to him, only God knows but your judgement will meet you soon. 

"All our security agencies failed me, from the DSS to police to the military, all failed. They tracked his number and knew the exact time his phone went off and the exact location but beyond that, they didn’t do anything else. 

"Is it the underground people we paid that said they’ll go and search the communities in that area and the criminal camps to find him and never got back to us? collected money and kept feeding us with lies just to extract more money. I’ve been through it mahn."
