Kevin Hart’s former assistant, Miesha Shakes, is seeking testimony from Montia Sabbag, the woman involved in his 2017 s3x tape controversy, as part of an ongoing legal dispute with the comedian, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Shakes said she wants to question Sabbag about the incident and the investigation that followed. Sabbag sued Hart for $60 million in 2019, alleging that he recorded her having s3x without her consent. Hart denied wrongdoing, and the case was subsequently dismissed.
In the current dispute, Hart alleges that Shakes breached a non-disclosure agreement by discussing his personal life during an interview with a blogger. Shakes contends that Hart failed to meet certain obligations under the agreement and argues that it is void.
Hart claims her comments damaged his reputation. Shakes disputes that claim, arguing that his own conduct had already harmed his public image and citing the s3x tape controversy as an example. Shakes said she also intends to testify and call Hart as a witness. The case remains ongoing.
