"I hate it when people talk down on doctors. This is why I haven't attended to young female patients for over seven years" - Doctor Zo reacts to content creator’s post

Canada-based Nigerian doctor Zo has criticised content creator Korty EO after she shared an experience with a male nurse who insisted on administering an injection in her buttocks instead of her arm.

Korty said the nurse initially appeared moody but smiled and acknowledged knowing her after giving her the injection, making her question his intentions.

Reacting, Zo defended the nurse, explaining that certain injections must be administered in specific parts of the body and that the procedure did not necessarily suggest inappropriate intentions.

He revealed that he had avoided performing breast examinations, Pap smears and other aspects of women's healthcare for over seven years because of concerns about being misunderstood.

Zo urged patients to respect medical professionals, stressing that their work is difficult and should not be unfairly criticised.
