Hollywood actor, Bruce Willis, 67, has been diagnosed with a brain condition called aphasia and will be quitting acting, his family has announced.
In a statement posted to social media, his family said: 'To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.
'As a result of this and with much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.'
The statement added: 'This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
'As Bruce always says, “Live it up” and together we plan to do just that.'
According to the National Aphasia Association, the condition is an impairment of language, affecting the production or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write.
The association reports the condition is always due to injury to the brain, most commonly from a stroke, particularly in older individuals.
Head trauma, brain tumors or from infections can also cause aphasia.

The truth, is people are not happy, those beautiful couple you see online, they are not, some people are staying in marriage because of the kids, the duration, the hope that one day the person will see the value in you, and take care of your heart, some just because they are scared of lonely. If my husband gift me something, why should you feel the need to show it off to people that were not there when I married, people that were not there when we had tough challenges, and people who don’t truly care?? It is your husband’s duty to gift you, some don’t know how to gift, but they show it in ways words can’t express, and it is your duty as his wife to honor him, respect him, and Take care of his feelings. The social media and internet is the best gift to mankind, but still has its own bad side, true happiness don’t need much validation, it is from within you and doesn’t need much of a show off. And, I don’t see any reason why gifts I got myself, I need to put it on display, I know the lifestyle is not easy for those with fans, that’s just the way they get admired, loved, and seen, I mean it is my hard earned money, I work for it, it is never easy, you just have to put in the work, and you get paid, so, why can’t I take care of myself and spend it how I like??. Many people are not happy, that’s why they get triggered easily, Nigerians create their own happiness and try as much as they can to make this place their home, the country is not easy at all.

Awww! My mums "boyfriend"! She loves Bruce Willis ehn! Because of her we watched and overwatched the Die Hard series and every single one of his movies over and over. He's such a cool dude and relatively scandal free which is a big deal in Hollywood. Cute guy, may the rest of your days be peaceful, calm and full of love. ❤️
