Earlier today, voting in a polling unit in Okota, Lagos state was disrupted after some thugs stormed the unit and burnt the already thumbprinted ballot papers.
A resident of the area, Oyinye, in an interview with TVC, accused the policemen in their unit of colluding with the thugs. According to her, the police officers received a call and withdrew from their unit shortly before the thugs came in to disrupt the elections.

I'm appalled by APC thug actions in these areas. In 2015, these areas voted for pdp however apc still won the elections. So what is their fear that they are burning results when 80% of the state is already tilted to apc. It's just share stupidity and cowardice from the APC. At my polling unit in Ago Okota they almost didn’t want the igbos to vote. This happened in the last elections now again , it’s repeated. Some of us couldn’t vote because the card reader couldn’t read our cards but our names was on the list. Those that their cards read, their names was not on the list. Very terrible experience.
