Kogi LG chair imposes curfew ahead of Natasha’s constituency visit

The Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Amoka Monday, has imposed a curfew across the council area, citing security concerns following a ban on political rallies and unregulated public gatherings.

In a statement he personally signed and released, the chairman stated that the curfew was necessary to maintain peace and order in line with the directives of the Kogi State Government and the state’s Commissioner of Police.

“The curfew, which takes immediate effect, restricts movement and gatherings in designated areas. Anyone found loitering or assembling in restricted zones without clearance from the relevant authorities will be arrested and prosecuted,” the statement read.

Monday emphasised that the security and stability of residents remain his administration’s priority, warning that any actions capable of disrupting public peace would not be tolerated.

“The safety of our people is paramount. We will not allow any situation that could jeopardise the peace and stability of our communities,” he added.

The chairman noted that the decision to impose the curfew was a proactive measure to prevent any potential security breaches.

The curfew comes amidst plans by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to hold a homecoming visit to members of her constituents today April 1.

Dispossessing the people of Kogi state of their monthly billions allocation from Abuja, constitute the mother of all security threats to the peace and tranquility of the inhabitants. Because Mr. Yahaya Bello could not imagine himself vacating the sharing table for the Free monthly due, is the reason he had to appoint an irresponsible willing idiot in person of one Ododo, so he could continue to partake in the criminal act.. At the rate we are going, there's every likelihood of a purposeful military intervention before end of second term of current regimes. This may become necessary for another new beginning.

Know this and know peace. He who must done with the devil must learn how to use a long spoon. All these captured politicians under Tinubu just proved that they are not wise. How can one man subdue all of you? You all, your white has been stained, no matter how innocent or clean you wanna claim to be, Tinubu has dent your image and has stained your white. You all are terrible human beings, you are all criminals. It's obvious that the day of reckoning is drawing near, the lawlessness you guys have introduced will go round, and had begun to boomerang. The curfew the yeye local government signed in Kogi state in order to prevent the welcome home of Natasha is the beginning, since we all wanna play mad, the defiance of the people today has marked the beginning of revolution against all oppressors.
