Cross Okonkwo's car was vandalised by a street beggar after he declined to give him any money when he approached his car in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos State.
The former Big Brother Naija star said he was driving along the road when a thug got close to his car and started begging him for money. When he ignored the man's pleas, he said he ripped off the windshield seal from his car and ran away with it.
Cross got down from his car and chased the beggar/robber but he could not catch up with him.
The reality star began filming the damage done to his car as he lamented the menace that street beggars have become.
"In Nigeria, you're not safe in your own country," he said.
"This Lagos, I don't understand why you guys are allowing thugs to be on the street mhen. This is unfair," he added.
Cross appeared frustrated and confused as he remained at the scene, looking for the thief. Other street boys gathered to "help" him find the thief but they were not of much help.
