Nigerian woman speaks out at funeral, expresses concern over alarming mortality rate among men (video)

A Nigerian woman has sparked widespread conversations online after speaking out at a funeral held in Southeast Nigeria, expressing concerns over the alarming mortality rate among men.

In a viral video, the woman pointed out that out that eight out of every ten obituary announcements are of men, arguing that the deaths are unnatural and untimely.

“If you observe the obituary posters around us, you will notice that out of every 10 people who have died, about 8 are men and only 2 are women. This is a big problem in our society, and it needs to be addressed,” she stated.

She attributed these premature deaths to heavy financial and emotional pressures, claiming that wives often contribute to this burden.

She urged women to support their husbands rather than contribute to their suffering.

She alleged that some women wish to become widows so they can date other men, while others cheat on their husbands without considering the consequences.
