NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs has denied allegations that he directed an assault on a concierge whom he allegedly blamed for the theft of his Ferrari. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Diggs argued that Nigel King, who is suing him for defamation, had provided no evidence that he instructed anyone to attack King on December 4, 2025.
King said he provided travel and logistical services for wealthy clients, including Diggs, and helped coordinate the transport of the player’s Ferrari from Miami to New York in July 2024. According to King’s lawsuit, third parties stole the vehicle, but Diggs subsequently accused him of being responsible. King maintains that he was never charged, cited or identified as a suspect.
King sued Diggs, his brother Darez Diggs and other individuals, alleging that the player spread false claims linking him to the theft. He also alleged that Diggs’ associates assaulted him at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Florida on December 4, 2025, and claimed that Diggs directed the incident.
Diggs disputes that allegation and denies making defamatory statements. He has asked the court to dismiss several claims and require King to pay a portion of his legal fees. Separately, Diggs faces a lawsuit from former friend Christopher Griffith alleging defilement. Diggs denies the accusation and alleges that Griffith fabricated the account after being caught attempting to steal property. Griffith denies wrongdoing.
