Lady whose ex is in prison for robbery is nabbed for receiving stolen phone from current boyfriend

A woman identified as Deborah Saviour has generated widespread attention online after detailing her relationship history with individuals involved in criminal activity. 

Saviour made the disclosures while speaking to journalists following her arrest alongside her current partner, Delight Akpa, who faces armed robbery charges.

According to her account, her previous boyfriend was also involved in armed robbery. She stated that she only discovered his illicit lifestyle when she unexpectedly saw him being paraded on television by law enforcement before his subsequent imprisonment. Following his time in prison, Saviour moved on with her life.

She later reconnected with Akpa, a former acquaintance, after giving birth to her son. Akpa reached out to invite her for a visit, during which he gifted her a mobile phone. Saviour admitted to journalists that she knew the device was stolen but chose to keep and use it anyway.

While she acknowledged being aware of Akpa’s involvement in theft during their relationship, she maintained that she never participated in any of his criminal operations. 

Her relationship history has sparked a debate online, with many questioning her choice of men.
