A Dutch police raid has forcefully disrupted a Nigerian wedding over the weekend, sparking intense allegations of racism and unfair treatment.
Videos circulating online capture the moment police officers blocked the venue's entrance as Nigerian guests, dressed in traditional attire, were forced to file out of the building. According to authorities, the intervention followed reports of severe noise pollution in the area.
However, the handling of the situation has drawn sharp criticism from attendees. One attendee was hearts complaining about how unfairly the officers treated Nigerian guests.
‘’This is someone's wedding. You don't just have to stop it like that,'' she said
In a newly surfaced video, a wedding guest openly accused the Dutch police of racial profiling. She alleged that a Moroccan wedding was taking place simultaneously within the same event center, yet officers exclusively targeted and shut down the Nigerian celebration because they were "black Africans."
