If Buhari, a retired general, could not wipe out insecurity, what do you expect of Tinubu? - APC campaign DG, says

The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Senator Abdulaziz Yari, says President Bola Tinubu cannot be blamed solely for the widespread insecurity, arguing that if late Buhari, who is a former retired Army General,  couldn't completely fix insecurity, why should anyone expect Tinubu to do it.

Yari put up the argument while speaking on Monday, October 19, during a visit to Kebbi, where he met with Governor Nasir Idris, traditional rulers and other party leaders in Birnin Kebbi.

“If a retired general did his best but could not completely tackle insecurity, what do you expect of President Tinubu, who is not a general? Nevertheless, the President has done his utmost best to address the security challenges confronting the country,” he said

Yari also urged Nigerians to reflect on their relationship with God, noting that addressing insecurity required collective responsibility alongside government efforts.

On the economy, he said the hardship being experienced by Nigerians was not peculiar to the country, adding that inflation had declined and fertiliser prices had reduced.

He said the Federal Government was implementing measures to ease the burden on citizens, including cash transfers to vulnerable households.

So, we should take it that a whole Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is unable to route a handful of renegades terrorising the country despite the humongous resources and international collaborations on its disposal? When we say APC members from "top to bottom" have sawdust as brains, it's not to ridicule them, it's a fact!! How can someone of this calibre make this statement? If that's true, Nigeria can't even fight a neighbouring country should there be confrontation! Buhari and Tinubu couldn't fight terrorism because they know how the terrorists came it! They lack the social morality to engage in the fight! When the Government of UAE released the names of top officials in Buhari's government who were sponsoring terrorists, did Buhari make their names public until he left office and died? Has Tinubu released it? Obi will show you people how to fight terrorism!

To immediately resign if he admits he lacks the leadership qualities to take it on. An unsecured nation cannot attract reasonably fair foreign direct investment, but rather rogue investments which so far is all he has been best at.
