A medical physicist and Imam, Farouk Alrem Al-Egbaawiy in Ogun State has shared some rules in polygyny.

According to him, polygyny is one of the means of seeking nearness to Allah, provided it is practiced with piety.

He further explained that if one wife contracts an infection, a doctor will prescribe treatment for all the wives as well as the husband.
