“I sometimes stay out till midnight just to avoid her” — Bolt driver opens up on marriage issue to passenger

A Bolt driver has sparked conversation online after sharing a painful account of life at home.

According to him, even when he closes early from work, he sometimes stays outside until midnight just to be sure his wife is asleep before returning home.

He claimed that some women take advantage of calm and patient men in marriage, adding that the emotional and physical abuse he faces has made his own home feel unsafe.

I always say it to people and that's just the fact without settlement. Most women don't like weak men. Women always misuse power and the more they see you weak, the more they grow in ego and control. No be everything you go dey do gentleman. You gats to stand up for yourself and be a man

Imagine, let flip this talk... Imagine a woman saying this, and the whole world will rain curses on the husband. Give her all support to move out and so sort of advises, but men suffer domestic violence. We normalize it.

Go and marry him. Have you heard from the wife. He can talk to you but can’t sit and trash his issues with his wife. Don’t poke your nose in to what you don’t know the origin.
