Police in Clearwater, Florida, have denied allegations that they quietly closed an investigation involving Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, and her son, Hayden Hitt. The clarification follows a lawsuit in which a woman identified as Jane Doe alleged that police ended their investigation because of Daily’s claimed standing within the Church of Scientology.
In a statement on Saturday, the Clearwater Police Department said officers began investigating in March and referred the matter to the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution. “The case is not closed; media reports indicating that are inaccurate,” the department said. The police response concerns allegations raised in litigation involving two women, identified as Jane Doe and Jane B. Doe. Jane Doe alleges that Hitt physically assaulted her on at least one occasion and that Daily persuaded her to forgive him.

She further claims that, after she contacted police about the alleged attack, Daily made her leave the home where she had been staying. Her lawsuit includes a battery claim against Hitt, a civil claim against Daily relating to alleged criminal practices, and emotional distress claims against both. Jane B. Doe’s allegations concern a house party on March 28.
She claims that Hitt used degrading language about her in a group chat and held what she described as an “auction” in his kitchen, offering access to her while she was incapacitated. The woman alleges that a minor, identified in the proceedings as John B. Doe, then subjected her to defilement over several hours while Hitt guarded the door. She says the alleged attack caused physical injuries.
Jane B. Doe is pursuing negligence claims against Daily and Hitt, as well as claims involving defilement, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress against John B. Doe. She is also suing the minor’s parents, alleging that they failed to supervise him adequately.
The allegations against the defendants have not been established by a court. The police statement confirmed the investigation remained open but did not establish the merits of the civil claims. TMZ said it had contacted Daily for comment on the lawsuits but had not received a response at the time of publication.
