Former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has issued a formal public apology to movie producer Rita Daniels, her daughter Regina Daniels, and Regina’s husband Senator Ned Nwoko, acknowledging that he was wrong for inserting himself into their family dispute.
The apology comes nearly a year after Rollas released a controversial statement during the height of Regina and Nwoko’s highly publicized marital crisis. At the time, Rollas publicly claimed that the young actress "needed help" and slammed her mother, Rita Daniels, for campaigning for the AGN presidency instead of focusing on her daughter’s well-being.
Reflecting on his previous stance, Rollas stated in his letter that he has realized his remarks were out of line. He also disclosed that several mutual associates have made efforts behind the scenes to mediate and restore peace between himself and Rita Daniels.
The actor emphasized that he is tendering the apology in good faith, noting that he is putting it out regardless of whether the affected parties choose to accept it or not.
