
A 23-year-old mother, Nathaly Ramirez, d!£d after she and her 8-month-old daughter were allegedly pushed from a 15th-floor balcony in the Bronx, New York.
The incident happened around 3:38 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, at an apartment building on Olinville Avenue. Police later identified 31-year-old Angel Carrasco as wanted in connection with Ramirez’s d£@th and warned that he should be considered @rm£d and d@ngerous.
Ramirez was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center but could not be saved, while her daughter was initially in critical condition before being upgraded to stable. Police said Ramirez appeared to have cushioned the baby’s fall by holding her closely.
Neighbours said they heard Ramirez pleading with Carrasco to stop during the confrontation, with one reporting that she was heard saying, “Stop! You’re scaring the baby!” Police sources have also said the incident was d0mestic in nature.
Police had previously responded to the apartment over d0mestic disputes, with reports indicating a history of trouble between Ramirez and Carrasco. Neighbours also claimed they had frequently heard the couple arguing.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed a man believed to be Carrasco leaving the area shortly after the incident. Police subsequently released his photo and launched a search for him.
