Video: Lady cries out as raging fire destroy houses two hours after she called Fire service officials in Lagos

The heartbreaking video you are about to watch shows a burning house with a resident of the house cursing out Fire service officials and PHCN Officials for not coming to their aid two hours after she called in for help.

Apparently when the fire incident started, the lady whose voice can be heard at the background, called for help from the Nigeria Fire Service but the officials did not arrive two hours after the initial call. 2 hours after the initial call.

Also she called PHCN officials to stop the power supply to the buildings but they did not. The raging fire affected other buildings close to it. Watch the video after the cut.

I am in tears. May Almighty Allah replace this mighty loss with something better and bigger. There's no loss that is irreplaceable in HIS sight. Take heart please.

Very shameful. One of the most backward countries in the world calling itself the giant of Africa. The lady should have called the Lagos state emergency numbers which recently publicly dislayed specially trained personnel and firefighting equipment.

I can almost feel the pain in her voice. What a country.

This is heartbreaking.....this video and call logs is enough to indict them. Let us call them out, the supervisor or whoever is in charge of the fire service station that was called has to lose his job! His dismissal will serve as a lesson, to others.I think it's time we started suing these corporations in Nigeria. I'm just so angry! Nigerians are hardworking people. We provide our own light and water. Go out to hustle during the day, come home at night and you can't even enjoy basic amenities, yet we pay taxes and nothing works. God will punish all of you who have squandered our nation's wealth and run out of the country when you have the flu or a headache. God will punish you! The money you have stolen will not save you! God will punish you!

Well..... there was a fire at Oroazi and a young girl and baby died. This was last month. Fire service did not show at all. People used the water from the gutter to quench the fire but it did not work. God punish the people at the top for real.

This is so disheartening! There live has just been disorganized in two freaking hours. Why are we the roots of our own problems? This people that picked her alarm call do not deserve to be in that industry if they are going to be this nonchalant about the security of lives and property. IT'S JUST SAD.

This is so terrible to watch someone'sweat destroyed in 2 hours. MAY GOD INTERVENE IN THE GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.

That lady is a clown. She can blame the fire service, she can also blame the government, but she has not blamed to architect of it all, (HERSELF).
She sounds like every other Nigerian. When they say come out and vote, she will be more concerned about how many selfies she will take with her friends at the polling booths. I have not sympathy for her because she is also among the many Nigerians who (By doing not voting or voting wrongly) make sure that the criminal elements of the society get into power and when things like this happen she nags, nags and nags.
Besides, if she is literate enough to put money in a bank, she should be wise enough to know that a house of that proportion requires fire and burglary insurance.

This is heartbreaking, someone's sweat, gone, just like that!

The head of the fire service needs to be sacked, the idiot drives around in a convoy of about 10 cars, yes, 10 cars, yet they'll claim there's no money to buy Trucks and other fire fighting equipment.

An almost similar incident happened to John Fashanu the footballer, his car caught fire and almost affected the building, the fire service were nowhere to be found, ironically a very senior officer of the fire service lives very close to John Fashanu. If not for good samaritans, Fashanu's house would have suffered a similar fate.
