Lady laments her father's loss of over N15 million worth of asset in the Ikorodu market demolition by LASG, shares heartbreaking story

Twitter user, @ayotola_, whose father's newly established company was destroyed during the demolition carried out by the Lagos state government in the early hours of today, took to her handle to share the sad story of how her dad sold a property just to enable him buy another property at N15 million in Ikorodu for his feedmill business. Ayotola says the newly acquired crushers, grinders, and generator were destroyed in the wake of the demolition. See her tweets after the cut.

The no notice talk is a lie! I drive pass the sabo market daily. It was sealed off weeks ago. Most likley for them to remove their stuffs. But they tried to be stubborn with the government. Or they were thinking they could lobby the government out of the decision. And its likely not the state government. The Ikorodu local government owns Sabo from what I think.

But is not fair @ all! Nothing is been done for citizens of your country, they hustle for every thing they got now u destroyed their properties without prior notice, we can't move forward with this kind attitude!they should be compensate for the dastardly act.

Notices were given months ago but people were being stubborn,no government would carry out such demolitions without due notice. I feel sorry for her father but he shouldn't claim no notices were given
