Detention: Capital Oil workers call on FG to resolve impasse as DSS fails to provide Ifeanyi Ubah again

Read the press statement below...
Nigeria's secret Police, the Department of State Services on Thursday, again failed to produce the Chairman, Capital Oil and Gas, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, before Justice Muhammed Idris of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.
This is in flagrant disregard of the May 12, 2017, court order given to the DSS by Justice Idris, to produce Ubah in court today.

However, this came as no fewer than 500 supporters from across different ethnic groups stormed the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, today, to rally around and show support for the oil mogul.

This is even as anger and moral indignation has continued to swell further over the continued detention of the Nnewi-born Billionaire Businessman, by the DSS

Leading the pack of those who have condemned the DSS continued detention of Ubah are Pan-Igbo group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo; Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC); the National Association of South East Nigeria Students (NASENS), HURIWA, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and  affected workers of Capital Oil and Gas.

Speaking to journalists, a Staff of Capital Oil, Mr. Tony Ogundipe expressed his frustration at the impasse. "We, Capital Oil workers are disappointed with the nonchalant attutude of the Federal Government in the resolution of this matter that has left over 2,000 of us temporarily jobless and redundant. The failure of the FG to call the conspirators to order is a blatant slap on the face of our democracy and sheer insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians", he lamented.

Another staff of Capital Oil and Gas, Mr. Samuel Aywila called on the FG to intervene in a bid to avert the impending starvation of their families. "The injustice meted on Dr Ifeanyi Ubah is negatively affecting over 2,000 workers of Capital Oil. The FG should be mindful of the implications on our families who are gradually been forced to starve", he concluded.

With this latest failure to produce Ubah in court today, Justice Idris adjourned the matter for ruling on Thursday, May 25, 2017.

How is he a criminal you fuckard, dickwart

Alleged criminal, until a court of competent jurisdiction convicts him of an offense he is innocent until found guilty. And the authorities should also do the right thing, if holding a Nigerian citizen in detention for untold time in flagrant disregard of the court is acceptable to you then you mr/ms anonymous are part of the problem with Nigeria.

That is the big problem

Has he been proven a criminal by the court of law, this a man that invested his money in Nigeria with over 5,000 nigerians working for him. Take him to court if you have charges against him

Ifeanyi ubah been held for 11b oil theft.this is the same devil who owes his workers every year.sometimes he owes salary for six months.he just goes about spending money recklessly without thinking about his staffs.i just wonder which of his staffs are coming out saying all this trash after al this man has put them through.those staffs are being paid to say all this.linda try to interview his real staffs at apapa then you will understand how they really feel about the ubah man.God is watching and he never sleeps.what this man keeps doing to his staffs yearly will end up catching up with him.its happening now.nobody who truly knows bah ways would come to that court to plead get support.all those beasts out there are all paid to say lies.

Since he is a criminal is the DSS suppose to break the law As well, or are They above it,if this man is charge with a crime that is What the court is meant for they Should go there and iron it out but failure to do so on the part of the DSS is making People doubt their true intensions,no one is above the law and non Should take law into their hands this is Democracy the government agency Should be the ones upholding the law not the opposite as the case maybe, honestly for us to truely experince Democracy we need to say no more to ex military generals turn politicians we need a true civilian with no military background
