Music began for Bikai while working in the corporate world and a co-worker was singing 'I told him to sing the song again. When he stopped singing I just free styled the rest of the song and he loved it.' That was how his music journey started inevitably. His earliest musical influences include Michel Jackson, Petit Pays , Koffi Olomide. Sam Cooke, and R Kelly , .  'I love their songs, words and how they get peoples attention with their words.'
