Death is surely inevitable but the demise of Raymond Akaolisa, an Anambra based DJ and presenter who works with Odenigbo99.1FM in Obosi, Anambra State has left many in shock.

Raymond, popularly known as DJ Raw in the Eastern part of the country died on Saturday, May 20, 2017, after battling an undisclosed illness for weeks.
Family, friends and fans have all taken to his Facebook page to mourn him. But going through his Facebook page, LIB dug out his last post before he died.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, he shared heartbreaking photos from his sick bed accusing all his radio friends/fans of not checking up on him to know his whereabout after he was being rushed from one hospital to another.

In his last words, he advised that friends check on their loved ones to know how they are faring.

Such is life .I have learnt not to build my life around friends.every body have 1or 2 issues bordering them.it's not becouse you see me dressed fine and happy and you think all is well with me.
FRIENDS are designed to disappoint you.and if you are not strong enough you will be broken by it.
RIP brother.

Soo.... Sad, it feels good to know that someone cares about you mostly when you are in a bad shape. Even though it's not gonna take the death away but at least it will put some smile on your face before the person passes on. I feel for you bro. Rest in peace.

It's a pity. His right though. We need to check on our friends. Most of us are battling with serious issues but even our close friends might not even bother to ask. RIP DJ Raymond

Heartbreaking message out there on his facebook page. Too bad that no body checked on him. Lets learn to be our brothers keeper. I have these questions for some of us. *When was the last time u called ur parents? *When was the last time u called ur elder brother/s or sisters? * When was the last time u called any of ur inlaws? * When was the last time u called that man or woman who helped u sometime wen u were in dear need? Reminisce...

And my anger is that even the ODENIGBO fm couldn't even go on a minute of silent to Appreciate the legacies and contributions in developing the station in one way or the other. And after making he's death they kicked off with hiphop songs and presenting and laughing. That's sad and wrong, if an artiste die they will use the whole day to celebrate the person, play his songs but to dJ Ray no..so dad he was my friend anf jolly good fella. RIP Ray dearie.

maybe his employer never wanted to employ him in the first place

some employers, if they don't want to employ you, and you convince them to employ you

being their employee, they the employer(s) will never treat you right

may his soul rest in peace
